GeoScribe prepares the content behind your profile, measures where you actually rank across your service area, and lets you decide how much of it runs without you.

Evidence

Before and after

The same location, the same keyword, the same grid spacing, measured on two dates. See the comparison area, dates and search term together so the change is easy to understand.

Customer comparisons are coming soon. This is an example of how comparisons will be displayed. Verified customer screenshots will include the original scan dates and map settings.

Each customer comparison will retain its dates, keyword, grid spacing and measurement notes. Changes in the scan method will be shown alongside the results.
A larger measured area and an improvement in ranking are different things. We keep the original comparison area visible.

Setup

Start with the right business and location

Create a workspace, authorise Google, choose exactly which profile and location to work on, then set your keywords, territory and control preferences.

1
Create your workspace
An organised workspace for your business, locations and keyword plans.
2

Consent happens on Google's own pages. Signing in to GeoScribe is separate.
3

4

One keyword per plan, and the area you're willing to measure.

Content

Turn what makes your business useful into your next post

Your services, business facts and local context are what the draft is built from. You see the exact text before it goes anywhere, and you can rewrite any part of it.

Draft · exampleAwaiting your review

Storm season is close. Our team is booking free roof inspections across the north of the city this month, including same-week appointments for damage that can't wait.

A draft stays a draft until your chosen workflow allows the next step.

Keep your own voice. Check the details, refine the wording and approve the version that is right for your business.
Photos

Bring the right business photo into the story

You upload photos you own and describe them. GeoScribe matches a relevant one to the post's subject, and you can change the photo before final approval.

Nothing uploaded yet
Add business photos when you want an image with your post, or choose to prepare a post without one.
Preparing your library
Your photo and its description are being prepared for relevance matching.
No suitable match
Nothing in the library fits this post's subject. You upload, choose another, or go without an image.
Your own photos, in the right context. Add a relevant image, choose another from your library or decide how to proceed when a post needs attention.

Planning

Give your content a plan

A campaign runs for dates you choose, at a cadence you set, and then it stops. You can see what's coming and what's waiting on you, in your own timezone.

Draft
Written, not yet prepared for a specific time.
Awaiting approval
Prepared and waiting on you. It will not send itself.
Scheduled
Approved for an exact local time. Still not published.
Held
Something blocked it — the reason is on the post.
Change a plan and the affected posts go back for preparation and review. Planned is never the same word as published, and nothing renews on its own.
Control

Choose what runs. Keep the final say.

Each capability has its own setting. Letting GeoScribe choose photos does not let it publish posts, and publishing posts does not let it widen your measured area.

Review first

Recommended

GeoScribe prepares the work and waits for you. Nothing reaches Google without an explicit approval.

You see the final text, image, destination and local time together
Approval covers that exact version — an edit asks again
Preparing is permitted; publishing is a separate permission
Pause stops new work in its scopeA manual hold stays until you release itCancelling can't recall a published post

Measurement

See more than the ranking at your front door

Every view belongs to one location and one keyword. GeoScribe checks the same positions each time and records what it found, so a change is a real change rather than a different sample.

What a result can be
7
Found at a position
You appeared, and this is where.
Valid not-found
The check ran correctly and you were not in the results. That is real information, not an error.
?
Unknown
The check didn't complete. Shown separately from a valid ranking result.
No scan yet
Nothing has been measured here, so nothing is claimed.
One strong keyword does not represent every service you offer, so each keyword gets measured on its own.
A coverage map showing where one keyword is visible across a service area
Illustration with sample values, not observed customer performance.
Targeting

Focus the next step where attention is needed

Weaker measured areas can inform what you plan next, inside the territory you saved. A targeting decision is a planning input, not proof that a post changes rankings.

Planned workExample

No eligible target — evidence too old
Outside the boundary you saved
Image preparation

Prepare the image for its intended context

Your original is kept untouched. A separate copy is prepared for the post, with optional branding and location information written for the area you targeted.

1Your original

Kept exactly as uploaded. GeoScribe never modifies the file you own.

2Prepared copy

A separate copy sized for the post, with optional branding and location information for the area you targeted.

3Your review

You can review the final prepared image and post before approving publication.

Target presentTarget unavailablePreparation held
Coordinates written into a prepared copy describe the area the post is aimed at. They are not a record of where the photo was taken, and there is no guarantee Google reads any particular embedded field.
Signature map growth

Expand the map. Keep your baseline.

When repeated comparable scans support it, GeoScribe widens the measured area at the same spacing. Your original checkpoints keep their positions, so the trend you have been watching stays intact.

7 × 7 · 49 points
9 × 9 · 81 points
Original, unmovedAdded this expansion

+32
outer checkpoints added
Illustration of a measurement area gaining an outer ring while its centre stays fixed
Illustration. The grids alongside are the exact geometry. Spacing does not change, expansion happens within limits you set, and a wider measurement area is not itself a better ranking.
The cycle

A working cycle, with evidence at each step

The same location and keyword travel through all six stages. Remeasuring can lead to more work rather than expansion.

What goes in

One location, one keyword and a saved grid of checkpoints.

Your decision

Review your measurement settings and saved limits.

What can happen next

A complete, partial or failed set of observations.

If the evidence isn't there yet: the cycle stays where it is and keeps measuring. Expansion waits rather than proceeding on a single good scan.
A pause applies throughout. If you pause a capability, its stage holds and says so, and resuming does not clear a manual hold you set.
Teams and locations

Keep the organisation clear as the work grows

The same structure holds whether you run one location or many.

Business owner

Example

One business, one location, a couple of keywords. Keep the focus on the work for your location.
